Surveen Chawla was born on 1
August 1984 in Chandigarh, Punjab, India, in a Punjabi Sikh family. She studied
at Chandigarh College for Women & was interested in acting from a young
age.
Her career starts in 2003 with a
reality show, after which she appeared in TV serials such as Kahin To Hoga and
Kasauti Zindagi Ki. These roles made her popular on television and gave her
confidence to enter films.
Surveen’s film debut came in
Kannada cinema with Paramesha Panwala. She later acted in Punjabi movies such
as Dharti, and then in Hindi films. She gets fame with Ugly (2013), Hate Story
2 (2014), & Parched (2015). She is famous for taking up both commercial
& meaningful roles, showing her potential as an actress.
With the popularity of digital
platforms, Surveen also worked in web series like Haq Se. Her acting get praise
for their strength & depth.
She gets married to businessman
Akshay Thakkar & prefers to keep her family life private. She is also talk
