Baani Sandhu, born as Rupinder
Kaur Sandhu on 18 December 1993, is a popular Punjabi singer and actress. She was
born in Amritsar and grew up in Mohali, Punjab. From the initial days of her
childhood, she loved music and performed at local cultural events during school
and college days. Along with her passion for singing, she also completed her
engineering degree.
Her professional journey started
in 2018 with the song Fauji Di Bandook. She rose to fame in 2019 with the
superhit track 8 Parche, which made her a popular name in Punjabi music. Since
then she has given many popular songs like Photo, Affair, and Phulkari and
collaborated with various well-known artists. In 2023, she also debuted into
acting with her film Medal.
