Starex University PhD Admission Process and Eligibility
As a process of admission to PhD courses, Starex University
conducts an entrance test and personal interview round for each course.
Students seeking admission to PhD courses must have completed their PG level
studies from a university or institute recognized by the UGC.
Starex University PhD Eligibility
Candidates seeking admission in Ph.D. Have obtained at least
55% marks at PG level for relevant subjects or CGPA of 5.5 or more on a 10
marks scale or equivalent grade. However, in case of SC/ ST/ OBC (Non-Creamy
Layer)/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks required will be 50% or
5/10 CGPA.

- A)
Entrance Examination – 70% Marks
- B) Interview - 30% Marks
A)
The minimum marks taken in written test and
interview together is 50%. However, a relaxation of 5% marks (from 50% to 45%)
will be allowed for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Inter
Category in the entrance test conducted.
B)
The candidates who have qualified the national
level exam like CSIR/UGC/NET-JRF etc can appear for the interview without
appearing in the entrance test.
