is worth -0.25 points.

Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge
are covered in the XAT curriculum. Decision Making is a one-of-a-kind component
that does not have a syllabus. It is being prepared for based on prior years'
questions. The remaining three sections cover key themes in their respective
fields. Reading Comprehension, English Grammar, and Verbal Ability are all part
of the Verbal & Logical Ability category. Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry,
Trigonometry, Set Theory, and other topics are covered in the Quantitative
Ability & Data Interpretation section. Politics, culture, society,

Test
Comparison:
This year's main MBA entry exam is the XAT, Those who took the CAT in are almost certainly going to take the
XAT. Is the CAT easier than the XAT? This is a question that will be on
everyone's mind who is taking MBA examinations for the first time this year.
Because both the XAT and the CAT have distinct
features, the answer to this question cannot be "yes" or
"no." The XAT test, for example, has a sectional time restriction
similar to the CAT exam, but the grading structure is different. In contrast to
the XAT, the CAT exam does not include Decision Making or GK portions, which
necessitate additional study for the former. Both tests are held within a month
of each other. As a result, well-planned test preparation is essential for
success in both. We'll go through the differences between the XAT and the CAT
in depth in this post, including the difficulty level, amount of questions,
syllabus, test time, and more.
Frequently
Asked Questions:
When will the XAT test take place? |
The XAT test is held on the first Sunday of January every year. XAT was held in 72 cities throughout India on January 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30
p.m. The exam was quite demanding, and it included an essay writing portion. |
When will the XAT results be made public? |
According to a notice on the XLRI website, the XAT result will be
announced on January 31, however it is anticipated to be issued in the second
or third week of January. |
Can I take the XAT exam many times? |
Because the XAT is given once a year, there is only one chance to take it
in a given academic year. However, the XAT test can be taken as many times as
necessary. There is no limit to how many times you can try. |
Can you tell me where I can find the XAT answer key? |
The XAT answer key is available in the form of a response sheet on
the test website. By connecting into their XAT account, candidates can
download their answer keys and response sheets. |
On average, how many people apply for the XAT? |
Every year, around 95,000 people apply for the XAT. Students from a
variety of disciplines and academic backgrounds take the XAT in order to
attend MBA programmes at India's leading B-Schools. |
Is the XAT more difficult than the CAT? |
Both the XAT and the CAT are difficult when compared to other MBA entry
tests. Both tests have challenging LR and RC problems, as well as a sectional
time restriction. The addition of Decision Making and GK portions, on the
other hand, makes XAT more difficult than CAT. |
Are there various XAT cut-offs for different XLRI courses? |
Yes, the admission cutoffs for XLRI's various PGDM programmes vary. Male,
female, engineering, and non-engineering candidates all have different XAT
cutoffs. Cutoffs for each course in the prior year's XAT may be found here. |
