SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) holds the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) every year for admission to the institute's B.Tech programmes. SRMJEEE is a university-level computer-based (online) admission exam for all SRM Group colleges and universities in Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, NCR - Ghaziabad, Ramapuram Part - Vadapalani, Amravati, Haryana, and Sikkim.

Eligibility Criteria:

·         To apply for SRMJEEE, a candidate must be a resident of India, a non-resident Indian, or a bearer of a PIO or OCI card (provided by the Indian government).

·         NRIs and PIO or OCI card holders (issued by the Indian government) who have not taken the SRMJEEE must apply under the International student category.

·         On the 31st July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held, the candidate must have reached the age of 16 years and 6 months.

·         Candidates must have passed or be sitting for the higher secondary examination (10+2) in the current academic year, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject, Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies as a major subjects from any state board within India, CBSE,ISCE, Matriculation or NIOS.

Application Form 2022:

·         Both an online and an offline version of the application form has been made available.

·         Candidates can begin filling out the application form on November 15, 2021.

·         Candidates must complete the application form completely and accurately.

·         Candidates must fill out the application form with the identical information that appears on their 10th grade report card; any changes to the application form will result in its rejection.

·         Candidates must submit the application form before the deadline, since no candidates will be permitted to submit it beyond that date.

·         The deadline for submitting an online application form is 2nd January 2022 (Phase 1), 18th April (Phase 2), and 20th June (Phase 3), and applicants will be eligible to submit an OMR application form till 2nd January 2022 (Phase 2).

·         Candidates should save a printout of their completed application form as well as their fee receipt for future reference.

Exam Application Fee 2022:

The fee for the application form is Rs.1200/- and is non-refundable. If a candidate intends to take the SRMJEEE test several times, he or she must pay INR 600 for each phase. For example, if an applicant wishes to take the SRMJEEE entrance test in all three stages, he or she must pay INR 1200+600+600.

Exam 2022: What’s New?

The SRMJEEE 2022 exam dates have been released at srmist.edu.in. The phase 2 test for the SRMJEEE will be taken on April 23 and 24, and the phase 3 exam will be held on June 25 and 26. SRMIST also began accepting registrations for the SRMJEEE 2022 on November 16.

Exam Pattern:

·         Exam Environment: The entrance exam will be place in an online protected mode (3 slots).

·         The question paper is written in the English language.

·         Multiple-choice questions make up the majority of the questions on the test.

·         Subjects: The B.Tech exam paper includes questions from physics, chemistry, and biology/mathematics. The admission exam for the M.Tech programme includes questions from each degree level.

·         The paper has a total time limit of 2 hours and 30 minutes to finish.

Cell biology and genetics, Plant anatomy, Biology in Human Welfare, Plant Physiology, Angiosperm Taxonomy, Microbiology, Applied Biology, Modern Genetics and Animal Biotechnology, Environmental science, Immunology, Evolutionary Theories, Biotechnology, Human Physiology, and so on.

Preparation Tips:

·         Before beginning their study, students should thoroughly review the SRMJEEE 2022 curriculum and test pattern.

·         Candidates must revisit each and every topic they have learned on a regular basis.

·         Students should solve prior year's exam papers to have a sense of the types of questions that will be asked in the entrance exam.

·         Candidates must take practise exams to determine their level of preparedness.

·         For test preparation, students should develop a good plan and timeline.

VIT UNIVERSITY AND SRM UNIVERSITY do not have a reservation quota. Only the general category allows you to apply for their admission tests.

Answer Key:

The answer key for SRMJEEE 2022 will be available on the official website of the SRM Institute of Science and Technology.

In order to compute their potential scores using the SRMJEEE 2022 answer key, candidates must follow the marking method established by authorities for SRMJEEE. The SRMJEEE answer key has not been released in the last several years; however, if it is released this year, it will be updated this year. SRMIST successfully completed phase 1 of the SRMJEEE 2022 as a remote proctored test. The test dates for SMRJEEE 2022 are broken into three phases: January 8 and 9, April 23 and 24, and June 25 and 26.

Test Comparison:

In comparison to the other two, SRMJEE is a breeze. The questions are straightforward in this case. You can get good grades if you know the appropriate equations.

VITEE is a little more difficult. The questions are a little more difficult here. If you're preparing for JEE Mains, this will be quite useful.

MUOET is simple, yet it requires you to answer 200 questions in two and a half hours. This should be a simple exam if you can manage your time and be correct at the same time.
