OP Jindal Global University PhD Eligibility Criteria
- Master's degree holders fulfilling the criteria prescribed
under clause 2 above.
- Candidates who have completed M.Phil. Course work with at
least 55% marks in the UGC 7-point scale or its equivalent grade of 'B' (or an
equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and
successful M.Phil. degree will be eligible to proceed to undertake research
work for the PhD degree in an integrated program at the same institution. 5%
relaxation in marks, from 55% to 50%, or Relaxation equivalent to grade may be
allowed for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Differential
and other categories as decided by the Commission from time to time.
- A person who’s M.Phil. The dissertation has been evaluated
and pending oral examination, Ph.D. can be granted admission. Program of the
same institution.
- Candidates having degree are considered equivalent to
M.Phil. Degree of an Indian Institution from a foreign educational institution
recognized by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency, approved, recognized or
authorized by an authority, Established or incorporated under a law in his
country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of
assessing, accrediting or assuring the quality and standards of educational
institutions, shall be eligible for admission to Ph.D. Program.
