The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the
Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) NET (also known as CSIR
UGC NET) test to assess applicants' eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship
(JRF) and Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor in India's universities and
colleges. Candidates who pass the CSIR NET test are only eligible to become
lecturers in the faculty of Science and Technology.

Eligibility
Criteria:
The following are the fundamental CSIR UGC NET qualifying
requirements that candidates must meet:
· Candidates must have a BTech/BE/BPharma/MBBS/BS (four years)/Integrated BS-MS/MSc degree with a minimum of 55% for General (UR)/General-EWS and OBC (50%) and 50% for SC/ST, Third gender, and PwD.
· Candidates must be at least 28 years old to apply for JRF. For SC/ST/Third gender/PwD/Females, the upper age restriction can be relaxed by up to 5 years, while for OBCs, it can be relaxed by up to 3 years (Non-Creamy Layer)
· For the position of Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor, there is no maximum age restriction.

The UGC NET 2022 Application Form will be available online
starting in the second week of March 2022. The National Testing Agency (NTA)
administers the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC
NET) twice a year at the national level.
Application
Form 2022:
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has enabled applicants to
make one-time adjustments to their application forms. Following the methods
outlined below, candidates can make any necessary changes to their CSIR NET
application form:
Step 1: Go to the exam's official website.
Step 2: At the bottom of the page, click the application form
correction tab.
Step 3: Using the application number and password, log in to
the registered account.
Step 4: Carefully read the instructions and choose the 'I
Agree' tick.
Step 5: Modify the application form as necessary.
Step 6: Press the "Submit" button.
Step 7: Double-check the information you've entered.
Step 8: Under the 'Parameters checklist to be validated'
header, tick the checks.
Step 9: Select the declaration checkbox.
Step 10: Select "Final Submit" from the drop-down
menu.
Step 11: Print a copy of the updated confirmation page.

2022: What’s New?
On January 29, February 15–18, 2022, the CSIR UGC NET test
will be held. The exam will be held in two sessions, the first from 9 a.m. to
12 p.m. and the second from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The NTA has established the CSIR NET syllabus 2021. All five
topics have different curricula:
· Science of Chemistry
· Science of the Earth, Atmosphere, Oceans, and Planets
· Sciences of Life
· Mathematics and its Applications
· Sciences of matter
Preparation
Tips:
Candidates must establish a decent preparation approach in
order to pass the CSIR UGC NET 2021 test. Candidates should begin their CSIR
NET preparations by familiarising themselves with the test format and curriculum.
Following that, applicants should begin practising the mock examinations and
question papers from prior years. Candidates will be able to identify their
weak and strong areas as a result of this. Candidates can analyse the papers
once they've completed them and make adjustments if needed.

Key
On December 29, the National Testing Agency (NTA) issued the
final CSIR NET answer key 2020. The answer key for all courses has been made
available as a PDF on the exam's official website. NTA has also released the
CSIR NET result 2020 along with the final key.
NTA issued the tentative CSIR NET answer key on December 3.
On the exam's official website, the answer key for all topics was made
available. NTA has also provided CSIR NET 2020 question papers and response
sheets along with the preliminary key. The CSIR NET tentative answer key 2020
has also been made available for challenge. The CSIR UGC NET answer might be
checked. By going into their registered accounts by December 5, candidates
could examine and dispute the CSIR UGC NET answer key (12:00 PM).
Cut
Off:
The CSIR NET Cutoff is the minimal score required to be
considered for JRF and Lectureship positions. The minimum passing score for the
CSIR NET test is 33% for General, EWS, and OBC applicants, and 25% for SC, ST,
and PwD candidates. Part-A, Part-B, and Part-C make up the CSIR UGC NET.
Test
Comparison:
The UGC NET Exam is held for practically all courses in every
stream, but the CSIR NET Exam is exclusively held for science-related subjects.
This is the most significant distinction between the two examinations.
The CSIR NET Exam contains just one three-hour paper, whereas
the UGC NET Exam has two three-hour papers. Each UGC NET paper has a different
time limit.
Candidates who have passed the CBSE UGC NET exam will be able
to work with NET Coordinating Institutes, whilst those who have passed the CSIR
NET exam will be assigned to CSIR Research Laboratories.
